Supporting Hyde Charitable Trust by providing a fully paid bursary…

More than fifty Hyde colleagues trained hard to prepare to run 13.1 miles at the Big Half Marathon on Sunday 10 March.

This year they were raising money to give their young residents brighter futures through the new Hyde Breaking Barriers bursary. This will support Hyde residents aged 16-24, who face significant obstacles that stand in the way of them achieving their career goals.

Many of their young residents live in households with low incomes and face other challenges that prevent them from achieving their potential. These individual bursaries of up to £1,000 will be offered to help remove practical barriers which can include travel, equipment or training costs.

Cleanscapes and Groundscapes were delighted to show our support by donating £1,000 so that we could fund one of the bursaries.

Well done everyone who ran the Big Half Marathon. If you’d also like to support Hyde you can do so here https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/HCTBighalf2019
